Hot Spice - a disgusting hot mess
My roommate took me to this place because he had a craving for Burger, we should have just taken a longer ride and visited McDonald's instead. This place doesn't look like a owned franchise from the outside, the ambiance of the restaurant is ok-ish. The interior decorator must update his color palate, the overwhelming amount of red used on the walls is an assault on the visual senses. The dining area has a nice amount of seating space, too bad that nobody was dining there except for my friend and me, and a couple who clearly were not here to dine.
The menu was straight out of the 70s with shitty pictures and shittier items on the menu (pineapple pizza? come on). We decided to bite the bullet and order our food, we got ourselves a Chicken Tikka pizza, Chicken fillet burger, and some chicken wings.
The pizza was horrendous, the crust was too thick and there was a ridiculous amount of cheese on the pizza, the only thing which amused me was that they somehow managed to make the crust somewhat crispy in spite of it being too thick.
The chicken wings were the only dish which is worth mentioning, they were perfectly battered, breaded and fried to perfection. They were so tender that the bones just came out of the flesh.
The chicken fillet burger was an abomination and a disgrace to all the food items in the world, the mayo was just slathered on top of the fillet and was disgusting. The very thought of that burger wants me to jump off a high-rise building. I had to drink a can of coke to remove the aftertaste which the burger left in my mouth.
